WooWeekly #578: Media Folders | High CLS | SKU Number

Hello there,

Welcome back to WooWeekly! Every week, I curate tips and tutorials to help you sharpen your WooCommerce skills.

Happy holidays! I’m really trying to enjoy family time, but I’ve noticed that whenever I get a quiet moment for myself, I actually end up relaxing in my office room—it somehow helps me disconnect a little. Not sure if it’s the same for you. Here in Italy, school ended on Friday the 19th, and we won’t be back to “normal” until January 8th… so it’s definitely a long stretch, and I’m figuring out ways not to burn out 😀

On the business side, I’ll be sharing a year in review at the beginning of January—I’m starting to take some notes today. Despite a -50% revenue hit this year, I’m delighted that I managed to launch Checkout Summit, plan the upcoming rework of the Business Bloomer Club (here’s a 50% off coupon, enjoy for another few hours!), and overall, 2026 is shaping up to be a strong year financially and personally.

Anyhow, here’s your weekly round-up of WooCommerce tips and tricks. Enjoy!

CLS in WooCommerce: Making it “0” (Core Web Vitals)

You click on a product, scroll down, and suddenly—everything jumps around. Buttons move, images shift, text jumps—frustrating, right?

In this guide, you’ll learn what CLS is, how to measure it, and the common causes behind those unexpected layout shifts. You’ll see practical ways to fix them so your store feels smooth, stable, and trustworthy—keeping your customers happy and sales flowing.
