Still not settled in the city — I don’t remember a tougher September. I guess we relaxed too much this summer, and now it’s really hard to get back on track. The weather’s unpredictable, and between doctors, dentists, appointments, schools, and endless shopping, I feel like I’m running a marathon every week. The more time I spend at the beach house, the more I know what I’ll be doing — and where I’ll be — when my kid grows up and goes study abroad. I keep dreaming of opening a coworking space right by the sea… who knows!
On the business side, I got seriously lost — or better, sucked into Checkout Summit — to the point I didn’t realize clients, partners, and other business things were waiting on me. It’s good and bad at the same time: the event is moving forward, but my reputation took a little hit and I need to recover. So, I’ve decided to schedule a “No Checkout Summit Day” this week — a full day focused 100% on everything else.
