Hello there,
Welcome back to WooWeekly! I’m glad you’re here for another round of WooCommerce insights. Every week, I curate tips and tutorials for you (and the other 19,449 subscribers!) to help you sharpen your WooCommerce skills.
But first, these last few days have been very good. I finally did it; I signed up for tennis again, and this time, I added the gym to the mix. It’s been a long four years, and I didn’t realize just how much I missed it. Something about being back on the court (and pushing through a workout) makes me feel like a piece of me that was missing here in the city is finally back. And the best part? Kiddo is doing great, and -guess what – he’s into tennis too! He’s signing up for the rest of the school year, which makes me even happier.
On the business side, I’m really excited about Woo’s rebranding and looking forward to seeing where this new direction takes things.
I’m also gearing up for my next three free masterclasses (you’ll find the registration links in the “Club Corner” below) – topics are very interesting, at least to me!
Plus, I reconnected with an old WordPress friend, and it looks like we’ll be teaming up to release more online courses – and more frequently. Next week, I’ll share more details, and you will get to vote on which course we launch first. Expect at least six new Woo courses for Business Bloomer Club members this year!
Anyhow, here’s your weekly round-up of WooCommerce tips and tricks. Enjoy!

How to Customize Your WooCommerce Product Gallery
The default WooCommerce gallery works fine for basic needs, but many stores need additional features to showcase their products effectively. Whether you sell clothing that needs to be shown in multiple angles and requires advanced zoom capabilities, or customizable items that benefit from video demonstrations, enhanced gallery functionality can make a big difference in your conversion rates. ICYMI: WooCommerce Snippets
WooCommerce: Allow Only Simple Products
WooCommerce stores that exclusively sell simple products can benefit from a cleaner backend by removing unused product types like variable, grouped, and external products. Simplifying the product editor and backend product listings not only declutters the interface but also reduces the chances of store managers making mistakes when adding or managing products. [Business Bloomer]
WooCommerce: Duplicate Order @ WordPress Dashboard
In WooCommerce, the ability to quickly duplicate orders can save time when managing repeat purchases or creating similar orders. However, this feature isn’t available by default. While plugins exist to add it, they can be complex or overengineered for simple use cases. [Business Bloomer]
WooCommerce: Remove “Payments” From WordPress Sidebar Admin Menu
The “Payments” tab in the WordPress admin sidebar menu was introduced in newer versions of WooCommerce. So, if you’ve always wanted to get rid of it, here’s a quick snippet that will do the trick! [Business Bloomer]
WooCommerce: Purchase History (With Review Buttons) @ My Account
If you’re running a WooCommerce store, you know how important product reviews are for building trust and boosting sales. But as your product catalog grows, it can become hard for customers to keep track of which purchases still need reviews. That’s where a Purchase History tab comes in handy. Imagine offering your customers a simple way to see all their previous purchases, with a clear indicator of which items they haven’t reviewed yet. [Business Bloomer]
WooCommerce: Add Custom Badge To Featured Products @ Shop Page
If you’ve ever wanted to customize how WooCommerce featured products appear on your classic product grid (Shop, Category, Tag, archive, search, shortcode pages) or Product Collection block, you’re in the right place! [Business Bloomer]
WooCommerce: How to Split Orders After Purchase
Splitting WooCommerce orders programmatically can be incredibly useful for store owners who need to manage complex workflows. Whether you’re dealing with pre-orders, dropshipping, or simply organizing items for multiple shipments, dividing an order based on its products ensures smoother operations and a better customer experience.
