WooWeekly #267: Rename Checkout Labels (Plus: Holidays?)

How you doing?

It’s a lovely Wednesday evening here in Sicily and despite it’s late I couldn’t miss our WooCommerce Weekly appointment!

Here comes a series of WooCommerce articles put together by yours truly so that you can learn something new – you’ll also find a “What I learned this week” update.

New: WooCommerce Tips & Tutorials

WooCommerce: Rename “State” Label @ Checkout

Here’s a super quick snippet you can use to rename the WooCommerce checkout “state” field label for both billing & shipping. Enjoy: https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-rename-state-label-checkout/

WooCommerce: Show Checkout Even If Cart Is Empty

By default, the WooCommerce Checkout page redirects you back to the (empty) Cart page in case there are no products in the Cart. WooCommerce provides us with two filters that we can use to immediately disable this default behavior. Enjoy: https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-show-checkout-even-if-cart-is-empty/

How to Choose the Right WooCommerce Theme

It’s worth being strategic when you choose your WooCommerce theme. The right theme is easy to use, enticing to your audience and helps build your brand. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know to choose the right WooCommerce theme for your site: https://businessbloomer.com/how-to-choose-the-right-woocommerce-theme/

New: “What I Learned This Week”

Time to take some time off?

I don’t think I’ve ever switched off in the last 24+ Business Bloomer months. I’m thinking to stop WooCommerce Weekly for 4 weeks, write no blogs, reply to no emails, and just work with 2 clients if they really need it. So, I haven’t learned much this week, but maybe you could give me your ideas re: what I should do in August?
