WooWeekly #262: Sales by Product ID + #CustomizeWoo Launch

How you doing?

It’s a super hot Wednesday here in Sicily, but thankfully my laptop is still alive and kicking… so welcome back to our WooCommerce Weekly appointment!

Here comes a series of WooCommerce articles put together by yours truly so that you can learn something new – you’ll also find a “What I learned this week” update. This is also an important week for me, as my online course is re-launching on July 1st.

New: WooCommerce Tips & Tutorials

WooCommerce: Calculate Sales by Product ID (Shortcode)

Let’s say you’re developing a custom sales page or a landing page. A great way to increase your conversion rate is by showing the number of purchases close to the “add to cart” button. We’ve already seen how to do this on the single product page, but what if you need to show this on a custom page, and therefore you need a shortcode? Here you go – enjoy: https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-calculate-sales-by-product-id-shortcode/

New: #CustomizeWoo Online Course

Enrollment Opens 1-15 July

Finally, the new version of my #CustomizeWoo online course is ready to go and enrollment starts on July 1st and ends on July 15th. This second, brand new version of the course has now a single focus: learning how to customize WooCommerce without unnecessary plugins.

New: “What I Learned This Week”

Revising an online course takes longer than creating it

I thought revising #CustomizeWoo online course and re-launching its 2nd version was going to be a breeze. Not at all. I had to re-do 40+ videos, re-do the sales page, and set up again Sensei and WooCommerce with custom coding.

Video subtitles are a life saver

If you’ve watched any of my free WooCommerce customization videos, you know I have a weird Italian/Irish accent. I decided to invest some #CustomizeWoo budget into getting English subtitles for every screencast video: https://businessbloomer.com/customizewoo-master-woocommerce-online-course/#lessons
