How’s things?
It’s a summery Wednesday here in the South of Italy – so a sunny welcome back to our WooCommerce Weekly appointment!
New: WooCommerce Tips & Tutorials
WooCommerce: Remove Product From Cart Programmatically
We already saw how to add a product to cart automatically – but today we want to find out how to do the opposite: if a certain condition is met, we want to remove a product ID from the cart. This becomes a little complex – while adding an item to cart requires just its product ID, removing it from the cart forces you to know the “cart item key”. Japanese, I know, but just copy the snippet and you’re done: https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-remove-product-from-cart-programmatically/
New: “What I Learned This Week”
Family and friends are everything <3
I spent the last 2 weeks with my aunt/uncle/cousin from Rome and my best friends (and their 2 kids) from Ireland who came visit me in Sicily. I really had a great time – so great that I forgot to send last week’s newsletter (lol).
WCEU is on, but I’m not there 😐
It’s the first year since Vienna, Paris and Belgrade that I’m going to miss WordCamp Europe. Pity not being there this time, but you can’t always do everything that you planned at the beginning of the year.
I hate mosquitoes :@
If there is something to hate about our Italian summers, it’s mosquitoes. I woke up this morning at 5am because 5 of them broke into my room and had a nice breakfast over my body.
