Happy Wednesday! Busy week for me, with the first cold since the school season started, and the first rain. Someone tells me there is actually a thing called autumn… I’m not entirely convinced yet, but I suppose the weather is trying to make a point. On the business side, the highlight of the week was … Read more
Happy Wednesday! I’m writing this with a cold and very little sleep, so please excuse any mess or typos this week. Apparently I’ve also decided that everything here still needs to be done manually for now… although that may change sooner rather than later! Business-wise, there’s a lot happening. Registration for Save The Plugin closes today, so if you’ve … Read more
Happy Wednesday! I’ll keep this short because I’m about to go for a nap. I haven’t slept well for a few days now, for a mix of reasons. It’s still pretty warm here in Sicily, and whether the aircon is on or off, our kid keeps waking up during the night, which means I end … Read more
Happy Wednesday! This week has been a lot. School, the city, work, meetings, calls, and I’m back to full time now, all landing at once. I’m counting down to the weekend and hoping for a quiet one, because I could use it. On the business side, I’ve been pulling in a lot of directions lately, maybe too … Read more
Happy Wednesday! Today’s “back to the city” day. Mixed feelings, as always… if school wasn’t a thing, I’d happily stay at the beach all year round. Counting down until my kid’s off to uni (another 13 years…) and I get to drop out of the city for good! Which also means I’m back to full-time(ish) mode starting … Read more
Happy Wednesday! I’m in Rome this week visiting my mom, and it’s hot. Properly hot. Most of our days revolve around air conditioning, indoor shopping and indoor dining, which is not exactly how I pictured a family trip to the capital… The funny thing is that I’m not looking forward to going back to Palermo next … Read more
Happy Wednesday! This week went a lot better than the last one, so goal achieved. Honestly, it wasn’t even that hard! We’re down to the last few days at the beach (how did that happen?!), then we’re off to Rome for a few days, back home for a proper tidy up, and finally moving back … Read more
Happy Wednesday! I haven’t managed to fully enjoy this week, but I’ll do my best to make the next one better. Getting back to tennis helped a little, and I also discovered something pretty obvious in hindsight: I hadn’t restrung my rackets in over two years. So yes, the painful wrist may have had something … Read more
Happy Wednesday! I haven’t slept much lately because a couple of days ago my kid managed to fall while… sitting down. Yes, parenting really is full of surprises. The emergency rooms around here aren’t exactly the kind of place that makes you want to rush there unless you absolutely have to, so we ended up trying to … Read more
Happy Wednesday! Our beachhouse has been a bit of a mess lately. We had a new door installed, old stuff to throw away, walls to fix, some painting to do… you name it. Definitely not the kind of things you want to deal with during summer, so my advice is: do these jobs before the season starts! … Read more
