New: WooCommerce Tips & Tutorials

Shoptimizer Theme Visual Hook Guide

WooCommerce: Allow to “Pay for Order” Without Login

Some plugins such as “deposit” and “subscription” payments send customers to the “Pay for Order” page in order to complete a pending WooCommerce order. In certain cases, customer is forced to log in and this affects sales conversion rate. Here’s a quick snippet to make sure customers do not have to log in when on the “Pay for Order” page. Fix Your 301/302 And Redirect Chains

It is totally normal for internal links to be outdated and / or redirects to be forgotten after website redesigns or updates. When a link is broken, search engine bots get confused when they analyse your site, and therefore your Google ranking is affected.

To fix this problem:

  1. Scan your website with a crawler like Screaming Frog SEO Spider (https://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/redirect-checker/) or Broken Link Checker WordPress Plugin
  2. Find all the broken internal links and fix them

This will improve user experience, internal linking structure and equity of the linked page.

Hope this helps 🙂

New: “What I’m Working on This Week”

  • Last Saturday I spent the day working on my Gutenberg migration, redesigning the Storefront Theme visual hook guide: https://businessbloomer.com/storefront-theme-visual-hook-guide/.
  • Clients are keeping me busy with WooCommerce dev, but my priority is re-launching CustomizeWoo in June.
  • After my WordCamp Europe 2019 talks were not accepted, I applied to WordCamp US 2019 instead.
